History of the beginning of Tashigar Norte

I'm Michael, I'm going to tell you about Tashigar North, or rather, about the creation of Tashigar North in which I had the pleasure, the honor, the good fortune to participate from the beginning. I am going to do it {mentioning} the dates of some historical events, but I will do it mostly, using my memory of what happened during that experience, and in particular, regarding my relationship as a student with our teacher Chogyal Namkhai Norbu. So it is a personal view, and I do not pretend that it is shared by everybody.

 It all started, I could say, in a retreat between December ninety-eight and January ninety-nine, which took place in Argentina, in Tashigar Sur, at the beginning of Tashigar Sur.

In that retreat the Venezuelans were numerous, I am not going to say exactly how many, but we could have been about twenty.

 One day, Rinpoche called us, specifically the Venezuelans, to tell us that among the plans was the creation of a Gar in Venezuela. Tashigar South in Argentina, Tashigar North in Venezuela. And he asked us to start looking for a land in Venezuela, to receive that Gar. Then, I also knew at that moment, that Rinpoche had already expressed his desire to create a Gar in Venezuela and that he had even left a small sum of money to start buying something.

 That was, what I would call, my participation in "the first step", in Argentina ...

 

Historia del comienzo de Tashigar Norte 

Soy Michael, le voy a hablar de Tashigar Norte, mejor dicho, de la creación de Tashigar Norte en la cual tuve el ¡placer!, el honor, la suerte de participar desde el principio. Lo voy a hacer {mencionando} las fechas de algunos eventos históricos, pero lo haré, sobre todo, utilizando mi memoria de lo ocurrido durante esa experiencia, y en particular, con respecto a mi relación de estudiante con nuestro maestro Chogyal Namkhai Norbu. Así que es una visión personal, y no pretendo que sea compartida por todo el mundo.

 Todo empezó, podría decir, en un retiro entre diciembre noventa y ocho y enero noventa y nueve, que se realizó en La Argentina, en Tashigar Sur, al inicio de Tashigar Sur.

En ese retiro los venezolanos éramos numerosos, no voy a decir con exactitud cuántos, pero sí que podríamos haber sido unos veinte.

Un día, Rinpoche nos llamó, específicamente a los venezolanos, para decirnos que entre los planes estaba la creación de un Gar en Venezuela. Tashigar Sur en La Argentina, Tashigar Norte en Venezuela. Y nos pedía ponernos a buscar una tierra en Venezuela, para recibir ese Gar. Entonces, supe también en ese momento, que Rinpoche ya había manifestado su deseo de crear un Gar en Venezuela y que incluso, había dejado una pequeña suma de dinero para comenzar a comprar algo.

 Eso fue, lo que yo llamaría, mi participación en “el primer paso”, en Argentina …
